Returning teacher Colleen Carney of the Carney-Terrell duo will be teaching piano students onsite throughout the summer. Colleen received the competitive Ellis Duo Award from the National Federation of Music Clubs in March 2019 in Jackson, MS, and performed at the Biennial Convention in Jacksonville, FL. She has been working towards her master's degree in piano at USC and joins us for this summer as a special guest teacher. Lessons with her are a great opportunity to learn more about duets and collaboration for students of all ages!
Our on site lessons will follow current CDC guidelines, recommendations from MTNA (Music Teacher's National Association), and the Oregon Governor's Office. Check out our awesome set up with a sanitation station, student piano, close up live stream of each hand position on the TV, and teacher piano spaced more than 6ft apart. Not pictured: large game mat for student kinesthetic & music theory breaks. Ready to give it a try? Register now and select an open time for your first lesson! Be sure to complete the pre-lesson clearance form the day of your on-site lesson.
